who we are

CLYM (Christ Like Youth Ministries) youth group is a nonprofit organization, whose aim is to adequately prepare and equip young people for godly adulthood and the rest of their lives.

Whether coming from a broken home or one with good foundation, we believe our youth group is beneficial for all.

We look to inspire the youth to make right decisions in the light of godliness and encourage an atmosphere of youth uplifting one another as they focus on service towards others while we simultaneously help them work through their own situations.

When our different walks of life and situation look to divide us, we can know we have this common thread which is the grace and mercy found in Jesus Christ our savior.
People have always enjoyed the challenge of overcoming obstacles. When there's a wall they say can't be crossed or a mountain that can't be climbed there's always been someone there to prove the nay sayers wrong.
With CLYM, the focus is on the youth to take their relationship with Christ to the next level, go beyond themselves and CLYM higher. Just like mountain climbing, when the body reaches a certain elevation, it begins to feel uncomfortable and your body experiences discomfort.
To reach a new altitude in our relationship with God we too may experience discomfort but, as many mountain climbers will tell you, the view from the top is so, worth it.
There is a saying "When you've reached the summit you must come down but once you've seen it you've seen it."
Once you've seen God from the top then it's time to come down and tell someone what you saw. You'll soon want more of God but that means going up even higher.
That means a new challenge and a new mountain. Life is full of its own issues and problem but while we're down here, together, we can chose to CLYM higher.
